Terms and Conditions

When buying goods over the Internet, the consumer is entering a legally binding contract. In placing an order with Wightcat Crafts, the customer accepts the terms and conditions set out below.

Deliveries:

We aim to despatch goods the next working day, however, please allow up to 28 days for items that are out of stock.

We will notify you by email once the goods have been dispatched or if any of the goods are out of stock.

If you have paid by cheque we do wait approx 5 working days for cheques to clear so if your order is urgent we ask you to phone us with your credit card details. E-cheques can take even longer to clear.

We are now able to take credit card payments over the phone for mail order customers, so if you have any problems accessing the payment system on our website please call us and we will be happy to help you

UK Delivery method is Royal Mail or Parcel Force or by a courier/freight service as appropriate

We do not send to PO Box numbers unless by prior agreement.

International Shipping:

Due to Brexit and International Shipping costs we are no longer able to send any international parcels

Payment Options:

All transactions are in pounds sterling.

All goods must be paid for before they are dispatched.

The website offers payment via Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account and can pay with a credit card, there is also the option to send a cheque for your goods. Please note if you have paid by cheque please allow 5 working days for cheques to clear, if your order is urgent we ask you to phone us with your credit card details.

The illustrations/images on this website are for identification only and are not to scale. Products may differ in specification or packaging from those pictured. All sizes are approximate. Colour charts are for guidance only and accuracy is limited by the VDU screen capabilities.

Prices & Supplies:

All goods are subject to availability.

The prices of the goods for sale remain valid until such a time that they are changed on this website. Any goods ordered will be charged at the price quoted on the website at the time the order was placed.

Damaged Goods:

Please notify us immediately if any of your goods are damaged or missing. Damaged goods must be returned within 14 days for refund or replacement to the address below. Please contact us by phone first.

The Right to Cancel:

Under the UK Distance Selling Regulations, the customer has a right to cancel the order within 7 working days of receipt of the goods, provided it is done in writing. They will then be entitled to return the goods in an undamaged and unused condition in their original packaging, to the address below. We regret this does not apply to un-sealed audio or video recordings or computer software,printed publications, periodicals and magazines. A full refund to the value of the goods returned will be given within 30 days. On cancellation 'Wightcat Crafts' will not be able to refund return postage and packing costs incurred by the customer.

E-Commerce Regulations:

UK law is the applicable law.

Health & Safety:

Goods are supplied on the understanding that they will only be used for the purpose for which they were manufactured and intended.

Postage Rates:

Postage for the UK is £3.50
Due to Brexit and International Shipping costs we are no longer able to send any international parcels

Personal Data
The only information we hold are names, addresses, phone numbers & email addresses.
The information is held only in connection with our own business activities to uphold best customer service practice.
We do not send out unsolicited emails.
Newsletter subscriptions are always ‘opt in’ which means there are no automatic subscriptions, no boxes already ticked and you will be asked to confirm your email address when you subscribe.
There are no preconditions for consent of service, or requirements to sign up for our emails.
You can change your email preferences or unsubscribe to our newsletter at any time as there is always an ‘unsubscribe’ option & ‘change your preferences’ in our emails.
We do not give out any information to third parties.
All information is held securely and password protected.


Payment Data
We use a Barclaycard payment machine in the shop, any bank card details given are input into these machines only and not stored with identifying information in the shop.
We use PayPal for payments over the Internet, payment information, banking/card details etc are not passed through to us.

We only process personal data for:
Accounts and records (ie invoices and payments)
