The photo below is from a Swap that Krysta organised for our WIghtcat Parchment Group, here is an
account of the Swap from Krysta:
"Last year when Ruthie's list was newly back up and running in October
I wanted to get everyone into the parching mode again. So, in October
of 2004 I privately invited six women to take part in a swap that
I named "Color of the Rainbow Swap." Surprisingly all of the ladies
excepted my offer to take part.
Each lady choose a single color of the rainbow, and made 7 cards
including myself. Some participants choose to make all of their
cards alike in pattern and other's choose to make several patterns.
Once everyone had there cards finished, they all posted them to
me and when I received everyone's I swapped them.
Once the cards were swapped they receive the "Color of the Rainbow"
back in return. This swap took us 3 months to complete and was an
extremely huge amount of work.
I must give my sincerest Thanks to all of the six ladies that excepted
my invitation.
Adie, Sue, Glennie, Vicki, Monique, & Linda you have no idea
how emotionally (tearfully) happy this makes me to know that I have
such Great friends around this world that I have never meet. This
proves there all still "good" people in our world."
