All Art/Mixed Media ATC's These SWAP's are FREE, all you need to send with your cards is a stamped address envelope (UK) ATC's are miniature works of art, they are always a standard size and this is 2.5"x3.5", or 64x89mm. They can be made individually or as part of a set. They are often made as a limited edition and quite often there is only one of a kind. They are never sold but used in SWAPs, the whole point of them is to exchange with other artists, to make friends and see other people's work. On the back of each card the artist always writes details of the card including their own name, contact details (i.e. email address),the title of the ATC and the number (if it's part of a set, for example, 1of 6, 2/6...). Parchment Art ATC's These are the same as above, all made to the same size but are on Parchment paper, using Parchment Craft techniques.

International Reply Coupons The purpose of the IRC (International Reply Coupon) is to be able to send someone in another country a letter, along with the cost of postage for them to reply. If the addressee is within the same country, one simply sends them a self-addressed stamped envelope ("SAE"); but if you are sending a letter to another country, it can be difficult to acquire stamps for that country to send along with your letter. So you can purchase an IRC instead from your local post office, and send it to them; they can then take it to a post office in their own country, and use it to reply to your letter. Sending an International Reply Coupon with your mailing means the recipient can reply to you for free or by paying only part of the postage cost. Whoever you send the coupon to can exchange it for international postage at a post office in their own country. They can be used to buy postage for anywhere in the world, not just to reply to the country they have been sent from. |
